Theft

On Friday August 20 deputy was dispatched to Markham in reference to theft of property. Upon arrival deputy made contact with complainant who stated unknown actors has stolen a roll of chain link fence from his property. A 150 foot roll of 4 feet high chain link fence was missing, complainant stated he was not sure if any other items were taken, but to his knowledge it didn’t appear anything else was taken.

Public Intoxication

On Saturday August 21 deputy was dispatched to Sargent in reference to a male subject parked on the side of the road asleep with his head light son and vehicle running. Upon arrival to the location, deputy observed a tan chevy pick up was parked approximately one mile west on Creekside Drive running with the headlights on. Deputy approached driver and noticed a whilte male subject slumped over his center console asleep. Deputy knocked on the driver’s side window numerous times before the male subject woke up and started looking around. The driver was intoxicated, and he tried several times to unlock the door to his car. Deputy asked driver to step out of car and nearly fell to the ground. Deputy asked driver how much he had had to drink and he replied, “way too much.” Deputy placed driver under arrest and placed handcuffs and placed him in the backseat of the patrol car.

Disturbance

On Saturday August 21 deputy was inside an Exxon gas station when a Hispanic male came inside store and advised him his friend was having problems with a female outside the parking lot. Deputy walked outside and spoke to a male and female. The male stated he gave the female $20 so she could buy a pack of cigarettes but when she came back, she did not want to give his change back. Deputy detected a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage emitting from his breath and noticed his eyes were bloodshot. Deputy placed male in handcuffs and placed him under arrest for public intoxication. Female explained to deputy, male suspect gave her $8 to purchase cigarettes and a pack of cigarettes cost $7.25. When she came back from store, male threw her to the ground and she in return threw the 75 cents at him. Deputy also noticed a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage emitting from her breath. Deputy placed female in handcuffs and placed her under arrest for public intoxication.
