You are worth fighting for. That’s right, you. If the total wealth of the earth, from dirt to diamond, were summed up it would not hold a candle to the value you possess.
There is nothing more precious than people. You may feel like you are not worth much more than common, ordinary dirt. Maybe life has tossed you aside, burned you out, and taken your worth. The mistakes in your life have mounted up so high that you can’t see over them or any way around them.
Is there any hope? Well, I must say that according to the Bible, you are dirt. In Genesis it tells us that God formed us out of dirt. Feel better yet?
The good news is this: Dirt is the only thing that God ever breathed His breath of life into. Neither gold, nor silver, nor platinum, nor diamonds were the substance God chose to use.
As far as God is concerned, the dirt that makes up people is priceless. Though it seems that the failures of your past have erased any significant quality for your future, don’t neglect the fact the God made you on purpose and will never give up on you.
He never has and never will excuse or accept sin, but He will, and wants to, help you out of it. What happens is this, when you do wrong, God will question you. If He questions you, you are in a good place.
Here’s why, in Genesis, chapter three, God came down and questioned Adam and Eve about the sin they committed. He never once questioned the serpent (Satan) for his wrongs; judgment is all he received.
God only questions the ones He wants to save. If God has questioned you it is because you are worth saving. I want you to know that your life, your destiny, your purpose is all worth fighting for. Whether you fight on the right side, or not, is up to you. Here’s a tip: God never loses.
