Dear Editor,

Having spent the last 7 years traveling back and forth to the Houston area doing development and home building, I am pleased to say that I have recently been able to work in Bay City. I was raised in Matagorda County and have chosen to raise my children here. I started working with Mayor Knapik and his staff about four years ago. I have been building a few custom homes while my partners and I have been working on several subdivision and apartment developments.

I have partnered with Madison Development in putting together a large retail and apartment complex. I honestly believe, without Mayor Knapik’s dedication and leadership Madison Development would not be as far along as we are today. He has facilitated meetings with STP management, TDECU, Texas Department of Transportation and some large retailers for us to meet with for our project.

Having worked on many developments and dealing with many municipalities over the last 30 years, the City of Bay City needs to have a Mayor that is experienced and dedicated to improve our quality of life. After researching both candidates, Mayor Knapik is the clear choice for Bay City’s future.
