Special Police operation
On Friday, June 25, Bay City Police Department conducted a special operation consisting of underage minors attempting to purchase alcoholic beverages. The operation was headed up by Sgt Clayton Ryman. The operation resulted in three store employees
being arrested for Sale of an alcoholic beverage to a minor. A minor in a controlled environment would enter the store with a valid pictured identification. On all three
occasions the employee looked at the ID, but still sold the alcohol to the minor. The three stores in question were in the 1800 block Ave F, 3200 block Ave F and 2100 block of 7th street.
Home burglary
On Friday June 25, at approximately 7 p.m., Officer Justin Kirk spoke with the home owner in the 2400 block of Clover in reference to a burglary. The home owner reported
an unknown suspect stole over $6000 dollars worth of electronics which include a 62 inch plasma TV from his residence. The case is under investigation by Detective Armando Galvan.
Stolen electronics
Several other residences were broken into in the area and appears electronics were stolen.
