PORT LAVACA - LaDarian Stone stroked two home runs and drove in six runs in the Bay City Blackcats 17-0 win of Port Lavaca Calhoun Monday. Stone, who is hitting at a .579 clip during the first six games, also slapped a double in bringing his season RBI total to 12.

“LD (Stone) has a lot of confidence at the plate right now,” said head coach Robert Rayos. “He has had some big hits lately.”
