"Where "East meets West" Rural County Volunteer Firefighters from Van Vleck came to Midfield along with TPO for a training session Saturday morning. Lessons learned from a previous fire at Boling where one firefighter died. The opportunity to learn each units equipment became a plus resulting in a demonstration of hooking each units trucks in "series" to pump water (firefighting) and keep all tanks topped off. An understanding of "mutual aid" was in agreement by all.For more information to join your local County Rural Firefighting Department give them a call, they could use more volunteers."
