For the last three weeks I've had bad allergies. Had them when I lived in Austin too. Tree pollen is not my friend, it is my worse enemy thus far. I had no idea that my allergies would explode, literally, when spring came about. When I think of Bay City, I think of rice, open farm fields and maybe the ocean. I never once thought tree pollen, blooming and exploding with what will soon be a beautiful looking piece of nature. Allergies got so bad, I almost wore one of those face masks, the ones that people were wearing during the H1N1 epidemic. This weekend I was in Austin for my nephews b-day and allergies were indeed by far worse. I could not be outside for more then a few minutes. So back to Bay City, I finally decided to go to a doctor to get my usual meds that will help me feel better. He offered me a shot, I said "no thank you." I very nicely declined his request to get a needle through my skin. I am rushing to finally finish my stories so I can buy my medication and live in peace for a while.
